Lori's Family Many Good Memories April 30, 2011
To Lori's Parents, Husband, Children, and Sister, Diane:

I am so sad to hear about Lori.  You may recalll we worked together at Caribiner.  Lori's sing songy voice answering the phone made everyone who called instantly happy.  She was just that kind of girl.  I will never forget watching All My Children with her during lunchtime at Caribiner, and always admiring the finely crafted sandwiches she would make herself everyday.  Lori gave me a cooking lesson when I didn't know a thing about it, and I still have her recipes in what is now a sizeable collection. I remember surprising Lori by taking her to a comedy club where All My CHildren actor Walt Willy was performing.  Her screams of delight when we entered the parking lot and she saw the sign that Walt was performing can still be heard in my mind.

Lori treated me to a little impromptu concert one time at Caribiner.  Her rendition of Stormy Weather blew me away.  She was a talented and fun girl who loved to wear funky earrings and always had the nicest manicured nails.

It has been a while since I last saw her, and I am so sorry about that.  But my memories of her are so alive!  I am so sad she is gone, but she lives on in me and all who knew her.  G-d bless her and all of you at this time.

Amy Farbstein With Deep Saddness April 29, 2011
The world was robbed yesterday when Lori passed.  No sense can be made of this.  It was just simply WRONG.  Lori lived her life with passion and had a real ZEST for life.  Her positive bubbly attitude touched the lives of so many.  She will be deeply missed by all.  There are no real words that can truly ease the pain of her passing.  But it may help to know that my heart goes out to her entire family.  My deepest sympathy goes out to her parents, her loving sister and best friend, Diane, her children, her husband and all of her friends.  I hope that all the treasured memories you have of Dear Lori, bring solace during this time of grief and bring strength to your spirit.  Please know tht I am sharing in your loss.
With deep sadness and a very heavy heart,
Love, Hugs and Kisses,
Amy Farbstein
